Xansa NASSCOM blog II: The return

Xansa's blogging from NASSCOM again, and we're helping. In a year when India is in the centre of much excitement over its economic growth, it must be a good place to be right now.

I expect it isn't snowing, either.

Given a steep fall in share price of Steria after it acquired Xansa, contrary to their public claims, they have fired 240 employees IN INDIA, despite their claims of growth here. To meet the target, everyone who was serving notice period was fired immediately. The organisation has lost credibility so much that even though it hired Dr Mukesh Aghi as CEO (Xansa India) in July 2007, they announced it during Nasscom in Feb 2008 as if Mukesh was brought in by Steria! Employees are panicky and are leaving across levels and the management is unable to do anything. A sinking ship?
